This session builds on basic budgeting topics to highlight preparing line item budgets and budget justifications to include personnel changes, budget adjustments and rebudgeting requirements. We’ll explore cost principles and provide illustrative examples to common budgeting mishaps while also demonstrating resulting consequences.

Track: Advanced, but open to everyone

Background

The 2025 HRSA Healthy Grants Workshop offers multiple sessions that will help you successfully manage your HRSA award. HAB has organized the workshop into two tracks: 

  • A “NEW Recipients/Refresher” track with presentations to support the learning and application of concepts for individuals and organizations new to managing HRSA grant awards.
  • Ann “Advanced” track with presentations that will benefit individuals and organizations significantly experienced with grants management and looking for information and practices more in line with their seasoned level of expertise.
