Motivational Interviewing Technique and its Application to HIV Service Delivery

The purpose of this webinar is to demonstrate how to build capacity of Community Health Worker's (CHWs) in the HIV Service Delivery System, to utilize Motivational Interviewing Technique when engaging with clients

By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:

1. Describe the key components of the Stages of Change model
2. Define Motivational Interviewing
3. Identify and make distinctions between positive and negative examples of motivational interviewing skills in practice within HIV Service delivery context
4. Practice motivational interviewing skills, including simple, complex, and double-sided reflections and active listening
