This multi-day training will review the Peer Linkage and Re-Engagement intervention, an evidence-informed intervention that replicated within three Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP)-funded organizations across the country under the HRSA HIV/AIDS Bureau's Special Projects of National Significance. 

Learning Objectives

  • Define the core competencies of Peer Linkage and Re-Engagement Intervention
  • Apply core competencies to case examples to build confidence in application of skills commonly employed by peers
  • Identify resources that can support peers in working with clients and support clinics in integrating peers as part of the HIV care team.
  • Plan for how training participants will implement the Peer Linkage and Re-Engagement Intervention or components of the intervention in their organization/jurisdiction
