The Primary Care Development Corporation's (PCDC) HRSA-sponsored Sustainable Strategies for RWHAP Community Organizations is pleased to offer a free virtual-learning community series in four sessions under a series called Preparing ASOs/CBOs to Contract for Pay with the Health Care System.

This learning community will teach participants how to:

  1. Understand the health care landscape and the opportunities it presents for AIDS Service Organizations (ASO) and Community Based Organizations (CBO)
  2. Build a business case for creating partnerships with the health care sector
  3. Build financial acumen
  4. Utilize effective marketing and communications strategies

Who Should Take Part?

Ryan White-funded ASOs and CBOs that are:

  • looking to enhance their financial sustainability
  • interested in learning about various partnership models
  • seeking guidance on articulating a business case for community organizations’ services
  • exploring how to establish the cost of services and competitive pricing
  • investigating methods to market and communicate organizational value

Please note:

  • Participants will be signed up for the series being offered in their region
  • Due to the participatory and interactive design of the virtual learning community, space in each regional series is limited
  • After expressing interest, up to seven eligible organizations per region will be sent a registration link
  • The remaining eligible participants that express interest will be wait listed until the series is offered again in their region

What is the Format?

Each 90-minute virtual session will:

  • Guide participants through the basics of the billing and revenue cycle management process
  • Feature a thought-provoking presentation by an expert
  • Include time for live Q&A/discussion with participants and instructors
