Required and Enhanced RWHAP Unmet Need Estimates and Analyses: Exploring the Possibilities

Thursday, January 14, 2021 - 1:00pm to 2:00pm EST
Unmet Need Training and TA Team

This webinar will review the updated Unmet Need Framework for RWHAP Part A and B recipients and highlight the difference between the required and enhanced estimates and analyses. Given that enhanced estimates and analyses are strongly encouraged by HRSA HAB, this webinar will review approaches to support recipients in expanding estimates and analyses.

These approaches will include possible linked databases to utilize for the estimates and the benefits of subpopulation analyses for understanding disparities in HIV care and treatment.  As pre-work for the webinar, participants will be asked to review and start to complete a Data Capacity Assessment Sheet to identify potential challenges and barriers.

Note: It is recommended that you view either the Updated Framework for Estimating Unmet Need for HIV Primary Medical Care webinar and/or the The Enhanced Estimates and Analyses of the Updated Unmet Need Framework: Going Beyond the Basics webinar prior to participating in this one, as this one builds on information covered during the first two webinars.

  • Identify potential enhanced estimates and analyses that a jurisdiction can complete
  • Complete a Data Capacity Assessment Sheet for their jurisdiction
