Positively Hennepin Implementation Coordinator (Minneapolis, MN)

Hennepin County Public Health is seeking an Implementation Coordinator to implement Positively Hennepin, the County's strategy to end the HIV epidemic.

Duties

  • The Coordinator leads implementation of the strategy by taking the strategy actions and employing the tactics according to the operational principles set out in Positively Hennepin's framework.
  • The coordinator engages stakeholders from communities disproportionately impacted by the HIV epidemic to facilitate mobilization to end new infections using a community participatory and/or service-learning approach.
  • The Coordinator will work with County departments to integrate HIV care and prevention throughout the County's services and promote health equity in all aspects of HIV service delivery and policy development.

This is a grant funded, full-time, benefit earning position expected to last up to two years with the possibility of being extended. 

Required Qualifications

One of the following: Master's degree or higher in business administration, public administration, research methods, statistics, behavioral/social science, public health, computer science/MIS, management science, urban/city planning or a field appropriate to the area of specialization. Bachelor's degree or higher in one of the fields listed above and one year of relevant planning analyst experience. Bachelor's degree or higher in any field and a minimum of two courses in research methods, analysis, statistics, project management, planning or evaluation and 18 months of relevant planning analyst experience.
