The ALAI UP Protocol Toolkit is an interactive planning tool for administrators, clinicians, and staff at clinical sites who are interested in or are in the process of developing an injectable cabotegravir/rilpivirine (iCAB/RPV) program. The toolkit was developed by ALAI UP, a Special Projects of National Significance (SPNS) and Minority HIV/AIDS Fund project to help clinics across the United States develop injectable HIV treatment programs with the goal of addressing inequity in health outcomes.
Toolkit Components
The Toolkit breaks down the complex process of long-acting injectable ART (LAI ART) implementation into manageable and coherent program components. It guides users through key decisions and health equity considerations in clinical protocol development. Access the ALAI UP Protocol Toolkit Instructions and the editable Word versions of the ALAI UP Protocol Template and the five protocol Overviews and Worksheets on this page. You can also access the PDF version of the iCAB/RPV Protocol Toolkit.
