These charts show improvements in completeness of data reported by Ryan White ADAP grantees from 2012 to 2016.
Chart 1: Completeness Rates for Demographic Data Elements
ADAPs are submitting more complete demographic data over time. Notably, Health Insurance Status improved by 15 percentage points from 2012 to 2017; however, there was a slight dip from 2016 to 2017.
Chart 2: Completeness Rates for ADAP Insurance Services
ADAPs continue to report complete data for insurance assistance. They reported whether clients had insurance assistance or not and the amounts of premiums or co-pays/deductibles paid for all required clients in 2017.
* Amount of Insurance Assistance for 2016 and 2017 includes the following data elements: Insurance Assistance Type, Insurance Deductible and Copay Amount, Insurance Premium Month Count, and Insurance Premium Month Amount.
Chart 3: Completeness Rates for ADAP Medication Assistance
For clients with medication assistance, ADAPs also continue to report complete data on the medications dispensed, dispense date, days supply and amount paid.
Chart 4: Improvements in Completeness Rates for Clinical Data
While ADAPs struggled the most with clinical information, they are now submitting these important data for approximately 90% of required clients. Rates dipped slighted from 2016 to 2017; however, these rates are still substantially higher than in 2012.
