Use of Social Media and Mobile Technology as Essential Tools for EHE

Technical Assistance Provider Innovation Network (TAP-in)

Implementing strategies to engage hard-to-reach youth and young adults often involves the innovative use of social media and related technologies.

This online TA event highlights the products and best practices from HRSA’s Social Media/Mobile Technology Initiative that focused on under served and under-insured young people with HIV who were not virally suppressed. It provides an in-depth look at 3 of the 10 funded projects, sharing knowledge of challenges to using Social Media and successful approaches.

The webinar also describes how you can get training and technical assistance if you are considering implementing social media and mobile technologies to improve HIV care outcomes in your jurisdiction. This online TA event is the latest in a series for Ending the HIV Epidemic jurisdictions, convened by TAP-in, the HRSA-funded Technical Assistance Provider supporting the EHE jurisdictions.
