The 2019 edition of the ADAP Monitoring Project annual report has been released, featuring 22 tables and 19 charts on various aspects of two components of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program's (RWHAP) state programs: Part B (grants to states) and ADAP (AIDS Drug Assistance Program). Among the findings: almost all ADAP clients are covered by health insurance via ADAP support.

The 2019 National RWHAP Part B and ADAP Monitoring Project Annual Report covers the time period 2017-2018 and presents data on funding, client demographics and more. The report also reviews the impact (actual or potential) of policy changes to the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid on delivery of services for HIV and co-morbidities that have a heavy impact on people living with HIV.

RWHAP Part B and ADAP programs serve over half of all RWHAP clients and one-fifth of all PLWH nationally.

The report is prepared by NASTAD and has evolved over time from being ADAP-focused to incorporate information on the Part B program. Below are just three of the report's charts. For example, Chart 8 shows that 90% of ADAP clients have health insurance coverage, either through ADAP-funded insurance or ADAP-funded insurance and full-pay prescription programs.
