AETC ShareSpot: Reflections from an HIV Care Specialist Student
From the AETC ShareSpot - Dr. Samantha Anderson, a recent Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP), completed the Health Resources and Services (HRSA) sponsored HIV graduate/health profession training program at Rutgers School of Nursing. In this issue of AETC ShareSpot, she shares her reasons for enrolling in the program, her research on HPV self-sampling to highlight connections between the incidence of cervical cancer in women living with HIV, and how the program helped to increase her understanding of the importance of timely, quality and respectful HIV care delivery.
