Are You New To RSR Reporting? Resources For Creating The XML File

TargetHIV

From the DART Team Listserv

The 2019 RSR Provider Report is now open in the RSR Web System

New to RSR reporting? You may have questions about how to create the Client-Level Data (CLD) XML file. The DART Team has many resources on TargetHIV to help you create your file correctly. this includes our Creating the Client-Level Data File webinar. The questions below will help direct you to other resources you may need.

Do you get your data from an EHR?

Read the RSR In Focus: Using Your Electronic Health Record (EHR) to Capture and Report RSR Data. It explains how to create the CLD XML file from EHR data using TRAX or CAREWare import tools.

Does your data system create an RSR XML for you?

If you use an RSR-Ready System, your system can create an RSR XML file for you. If you do not use one of these systems, you can create your own XML or use TRAX, a tool that helps you convert your data into the correct XML format. Nearly 10% of RWHAP providers use TRAX to create their CLD XML file. See DART's RSR TRAX webinar to learn more.

Are you uploading your client-level data from more than one file?

When HAB receives more than one file from a provider, the files are combined. If you need to upload multiple XML files, you need to be familiar with HAB's RSR merge rules to ensure your data are combined correctly.

How can you make sure your CLD is correct?

Learn how to access and use the Check Your XML Feature in the RSR Web System to check your client-level data quality as you prepare to submit your RSR. Check Your XML is available for use now.
