Tuesday, April 9, 2019

TargetHIV

We draw your attention to a series of evidence-informed interventions designed to improve linkage and retention in HIV care. They were released over the past year to help agencies readily adopt and adapt them in their own HIV care programs.

The four broad areas are covered were:

  • Jails
  • Buprenorphine
  • Patient Navigation
  • Peers

The resources are available at the Dissemination of Evidence-Informed Interventions (DEII) initiative webpage. Type your name and email to gain access. DEII will reach out later to find out what you thought of the materials. DEII is a HRSA project that developed manuals and other resources from research and demonstration project under the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program's (RWHAP) SPNS program.

DEII is just one of the HRSA-funded projects that is examining evidence-informed interventions in HIV care delivery, all of which were presented at the 2018 Ryan White Conference and summarized in the blog Ryan White 2018: Day 2 Evidence-Informed Interventions.
