EHBs: DUNS Out, UEI In

TargetHIV

From HRSA's HIV/AIDS Bureau

HRSA is making updates to the Electronic Handbooks (EHBs) to support the transition to the Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) system. The UEI is a new 12-digit alphanumeric identifier that will be provided by SAM.gov to all entities who register to do business with and receive awards from the federal government. The UEI will replace DUNS.

What EHBs Pages are Being Updated?

The following EHBs updates are scheduled for October 28, 2021:

  • Grantee pages: EHBs Applications, Grants.gov Applications, and Smart Assist
  • HRSA Grantor pages: Application Folder, DSO Handbook, GA Handbook, Completeness & Eligibility Review, Prefunding Review, DIR Review, Awards, DFI module, DFI Institution Folder, Funding Memo, FFR, Property Tracking, Property Folder, Loans ANI and HAB Provider program specific modules, and select Reports

Please stay alert for future EHBs notifications on the GSA's webpage Unique Entity Identify Update for additional information on the transition to the UEI.
