Funding Opportunities: Part F AETCs

HRSA's HIV/AIDS Bureau has issued two Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for Part F AETC under the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP). 

Part F Regional AIDS Education and Training Centers (AETC) NOFO

HRSA 19-035 and will provide funding for targeted, multidisciplinary education and training for health care professionals to provide health care services to people living with HIV. The overarching goal of the AETC Program is to increase the number of health care providers who are educated and motivated to counsel, diagnose, treat, and medically manage people living with HIV and to help prevent HIV transmission.

Funding under this announcement will support eight regional AETCs for a five-year project period from July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2024. Eligible applicants include public and nonprofit private entities, schools and academic health science centers, faith-based and community-based organizations, tribes and tribal organizations. Applications are due December 10.

Part F AETC National Coordinating Resource Center

HRSA 19-036 will support one organization to serve as the AETC-NCRC. The AETC-NCRC serves as the central convener, coordinator, disseminator, and promoter of the work of the Regional AETC Program and the National Clinician Consultation Center.

Additionally, the AETC-NCRC contributes information and data, as requested by HRSA, to the AETC National Evaluation Contractor. Funding will support one cooperative agreement for a five-year project period from July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2024. Eligible applicants include public and nonprofit private entities, schools and academic health science centers, faith-based and community-based organizations, tribes and tribal organizations.
