HRSA has released three new Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFOs) for Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) activities. Details follow. Pre-application webinars for each NOFO will be held in January 2021.
SPNS Implementation Science
The initiative has two NOFOs, which will expire "innovative intervention strategies" in four areas: (1) Improving HIV health outcomes for people with substance use disorder (2) Improving HIV health outcomes for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer (LGBTQ+) youth; (3) Improving HIV health outcomes for people who are or have been incarcerated; (4) Improving HIV health outcomes by using telehealth services. One NOFO is for the evaluation center (HRSA-21-068), while the other is a coordinating center (HRSA-21-076). The initiative's formal title is Using Innovative Intervention Strategies to Improve Health Outcomes among People with HIV.
A joint pre-application webinar for HRSA-21-68 and HRSA-21-076 will be held January 13.
Dental Care
The Part F Dental Reimbursement Program NOFO (HRSA-21-056) will help cover unreimbursed dental care costs for lower income individuals with HIV and provide training for various dental staff.
