Tuesday, October 1, 2019

TargetHIV

From HIV.gov - Federal grant funding from HRSA is available for eight southern states to support "the development of integrated health care networks to address unmet local health care needs and prevalent health disparities in rural Delta communities."

Under the Delta States Rural Development Network Grant Program, targeted states have the opportunity to apply for funds targeting four focus areas, with a strong encouragement to target no more than two: HIV/AIDS, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, and acute ischemic stroke.  Targeted states are: Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee. (As noted by HIV.gov, 5 of the 7 states are prioritized in the Ending the HIV Epidemic Initiative.)

Applicants can learn more in the following technical assistance webinar.
