HRSA has released a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for a SPNS demonstration project that will leverage existing public health surveillance with clinical data systems in order to link people with HIV and hepatitis C (HCV) to needed care.

According to the NOFO, Leveraging a Data to Care Approach to Cure Hepatitis C within the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP)

"the goal of improving collaboration between HCV and HIV surveillance systems and RWHAP providers is to facilitate the sharing of data and identification of people with HIV and HCV who are not currently receiving care."

The two-year demonstration project is a cooperative agreement and will fund a Technical Assistance Provider (TAP) that will, in turn, select and provide assistance to up to 10 RWHAP Part A and/or B jurisdictions. Applications are due January 30, 2020.
