HRSA at SYNChronicity 2018

A handful of HRSA staff and a good number of agencies funded by HRSA's Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program presented at SYNChronicity 2018, April 22-24, 2018.

Sessions of note were as follows:

  • The plenary session, Syncing Strategy with Implementation: Healthcare Government Agencies and National Initiatives, will present a panel of federal officials including Laura Cheever, MD, ScM, Associate Administrator of HRSA's HIV/AIDS Bureau
  • The Institute, Making Integrated HIV Prevention and Care a Reality: From Planning to Implementation, includes HRSA's Terri Richards, MPH as well as CDC, a state health department, a community planning representative and a HRSA-funded TA/training project, Integrated HIV/AIDS Planning (IHAP) Technical Assistance Center
  • The workshop, Can We Talk About Me?: Blueprints for Cultural Competency in Black Women’s Health, has a panel that features HRSA's Natalie A. Solomon-Brimage, MPH and a group of community presenters
  • Another workshop, SYNCing HCV Testing, Navigation and Linkage to Care with HIV Programs: Strategies to Leverage Opportunities for Service Integration, includes HRSA's Sara Woody, MPH along with CDC, health department and community presenters
