A new podcast series on best practices in HIV care is now online. What Works in HIV Care & Services was produced by the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program's (RWHAP) Best Practices Compilation.
Each episode in features one best practice, how it improves the lives of clients, and tips for implementation. Sessions, as of September 2024, include an Introduction and:
- Housing First to Treat and Prevent HIV—a program implemented by Caracole, a non-profit in Cincinnati, OH.
- Golden Compass—a program implemented by The Ward 86 outpatient HIV clinic at San Francisco General Hospital. Golden Compass aims to serve the unique needs of older adults with HIV.
- Southern Nevada Rapid stART—an initiative led by Clark County Social Service, Office of HIV.
- Text Me, Girl!—an intervention developed and implemented by the Friends Research Institute in Los Angeles, CA.
