OI Guideline Updates: Four Infectious Diseases, Immunizations

Guidelines on prevention and treatment of opportunistic infections associated with HIV have been updated, covering management of the following infectious diseases: cytomegalovirus (CMV), cryptococcosis, coccidioidomycosis, and bartonellosis. Additional updates cover HHS recommendations on immunizations for people with HIV.

HIV.gov, which now houses federal HIV guidelines on clinicalinfo.hiv.gov, announced the update in Revised Opportunistic Infections Guidelines Include Updates on Several Diseases and Immunizations.
