Some clinicians and students may not know much about the AETC National HIV Curriculum (NHC). It is an online platform with training and reference materials on HIV care. To help spread the word, the AETC National Coordinating Resource Center (NCRC) has released an updated slide set to help explain NHC's purpose and what it offers.

The 12 slides describe, for example, the dual purpose of the NHC (a quick reference and a self-study module), the six modules (and 37 topics within), and various calculation tools to assess mental health, substance abuse, and clinical conditions. The Antiretroviral Medications Section has also been updated with prescribing information, clinical studies and slide decks on FDA-approved medications.

See more from the AETC NCRC, including the Resource Library, organized in variable ways: topic, clinical reference tools, guidelines, online and self-paced learning, training materials, and web links.
