The 25th RWHAP CLINICAL CONFERENCE will be held in person from Sunday, December 14, to Tuesday, December 16, at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC. Serving as co-chairs this year are Britt Gayle, MD, MPH, of the HIV/AIDS Bureau of the Health Resources and Services Administration in Rockville, Maryland; Jennifer W. Janelle, MD, of the University of Florida; and Michael S. Saag, MD, of the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
This conference will provide state-of-the-art research, care, and treatment issues in the medical management of HIV infection for HIV primary decision-makers, primarily physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP)-funded clinics and programs (specifically those operating under part A, B, C, and D), who are responsible for direct patient care and the clinical care decisions made at their clinics. A number of spots have been reserved for pharmacists and registered nurses who are the primary decision makers in their respective RWHAP-funded programs or clinics. Please note that up to 3 participants from each clinic will be approved to allow more clinics to participate in the conference.
This conference is planned with and supported by the HIV/AIDS Bureau, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and is sponsored and organized by the International Antiviral Society–USA (IAS–USA). It is also coordinated through the National AETC Support Center (NASC) clinician training network. ** The conference is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Attendance at this conference is limited, and all attendees must be approved. If you apply to attend, please do not book hotel accommodations or make non-refundable travel arrangements before receiving notification that your application has been approved.
Approved attendees are responsible for their transportation expenses to and from Washington, DC, hotel stay costs, meals, and all other expenses.
