Register now for the 2024 RWHAP CLINICAL CONFERENCE. The conference is in person from Sunday, November 17, to Tuesday, November 19, at The Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. Serving as co-chairs this year are Laura W. Cheever, MD, ScM, of the HIV/AIDS Bureau of the Health Resources and Services Administration in Rockville, Maryland; Carolyn Chu, MD, MSc, of the University of California San Francisco; and Michael S. Saag, MD, of the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
This conference will provide state-of-the-art research, care, and treatment updates for experienced clinical decision-makers (physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants) who are responsible for the day-to-day medical care and treatment of persons with HIV and those integral to the provision of medical care in Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP)–funded sites. Click below to access the preliminary comprehensive agenda, which includes daily small-group workshops addressing the most current and crucial issues in HIV medicine.

A limited number of spots are reserved for registered nurses and pharmacists who are the primary clinical decision-makers in their RWHAP-funded clinic or program. Please note up to 3 participants from each clinic will be approved to allow more clinics to participate in the conference.

This conference is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under grant number U1OHA49824 and is organized and sponsored for CME by the International Antiviral Society–USA, in coordination with the National AETC Support Center (NASC).

All attendees must be approved. If you apply  to attend, please do not book hotel accommodation or make non-refundable travel arrangements before receiving notification that your application has been approved.

Approved attendees are responsible for their transportation expenses to and from Louisville, KY, hotel stay costs, meals, and all other expenses.

Information about continuing education credits and registration can be found on the IAS-USA website and NASC website and will be updated regularly.

In preparation for the CLINICAL CONFERENCE, we encourage you to participate in the webinar on HIV 101: Core Principles of HIV Management for People Who Are Newly Diagnosed With HIV, scheduled for October 23. This webinar is designed for clinical decision-makers in RWHAP-funded clinics and programs who are new to HIV care and those practitioners who are interested in a review. It is also relevant for registered nurses, pharmacists, and other health care professionals. Registration for this webinar is free and open to all.
