The role of Community Health Workers (CHWs) in HIV care teams is summarized in a fact sheet that is part of a relatively new HRSA project that is supporting 10 clinic sites to expand their use of CHWs as a way to demonstrate their potential efficacy in delivery of HIV services.

Fact sheet, The Community Health Worker Role on the HIV Care Continuum, defines CHWs and lists ways they can work in HIV care teams (e.g., care coordination, coaching and support).
