STI Treatment Guidelines Updated

TargetHIV

The 2015 version of the nation's guidelines on treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) have been updated, based on input from a 2019 panel of experts convened by CDC.

The Sexually Transmitted Infections Treatment Guidelines, 2021, present recommendations on treatment and management of various STIs as well as risk assessment guidelines, testing for hepatitis C, evaluation of men who have sex with men after sexual assault, and other issues.

The Guidelines webpage also presents a wall chart, pocket guide, and other provider resources.
