Project ECHO, the national videoconferencing learning program, is accepting applications from HRSA Health Centers interested in expanding use of PrEP in their primary health care settings. Applications for the HIV/PrEP 2020 Program are due November 1. Sites selected will take part in twice-monthly sessions during the months January through June.
HIV/PrEP ECHO reportedly applies the Project ECHO telehealth model in the context of overall practice transformation for sites seeking to modify their care delivery approaches. Project ECHO, developed at the University of New Mexico, the site of the HRSA-funded South Central AETC, operates a number of TeleECHO Programs on such topics as Hepatitis C and Behavioral Health and Addiction.
