This session will examine the need to offer innovative services, highlighting client success stories from Kansas City’s transitional housing and emergency gap lodging program. Each presenter will include case studies, discuss the need for their program, the goals of their program, the program set up and design, data collection, and program outcomes.

Learning Objectives

  1. Recognize the importance of housing as it relates to service needs while finding ways to fund and/or foster housing-related services.
  2. Distinguish your jurisdiction’s housing continuum, learn how to fill gaps, and understand where it intersects with outcomes along the HIV Care Continuum.
  3. Explore how to structure a successful program to ensure clients achieve increased housing stability, earned income, viral suppression, and engagement in care.
