Description

Staff will present a population-based, data-driven approach to the Minority AIDS Initiative (MAI) funding designed to improve program engagement and retention to reduce health disparities and maximize health outcomes. Presenters will review methods to facilitate replication of the model in other Ryan White programs.

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe innovative uses of MAI funds to improve client engagement-in-care and client retention in AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP).
  2. Identify tools to create a data-driven model for identifying MAI clients and tracking outreach efforts and outcomes.
  3. Assess strategies for reducing health disparities among those in high-risk minority populations with HIV using the ADAP infrastructure.
