Informed, shared infant-feeding decision-making can improve engagement in care and health outcomes for parents with HIV. This session will review recent updates to the U.S. perinatal HIV guidelines favoring this approach and highlight the importance of empowering clients and providers with evidence-based knowledge to confidently engage in infant-feeding conversations.
