El Proyecto ACCEPT está diseñado para mejorar el compromiso y la retención en la atención médica de personas entre 16 y 24 años con un diagnóstico nuevo de VIH. Esta intervención educativa y útil para crear habilidades fue implementada en cuatro sitios de demostración y aumentó los índices de uso de medicamentos y de adherencia a las citas en comparación con el grupo de control. Aunque se desarrolló originalmente para jóvenes cisgénero, el Proyecto ACCEPT podría adaptarse para personas de género diverso.
