A collection of evidence-informed approaches to engage and retain people with HIV (PWH) in care has been added to TargetHIV.
Branded as the HRSA-sponsored Center for Innovation and Engagement (CIE), 14 interventions are catalogued to date. Most are products of HRSA’s Special Projects of National Significance (SPNS) and other Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) efforts.
Among the intervention topics are: motivational Interviewing, use of surveillance data to identify those lost to care, and substance use and buprenorphine. Others include, for example, rapid ART and housing interventions to promote retention in care.
