Community Health Workers (CHW) bridge health providers and communities and help to increase access and improve the quality of HIV care services.

In this webinar, participants will learn about the role of CHWs and how they serve as an integral part of the HIV health care system from CHWs at two RWHAP in the United States. CHWs will share real-world examples of their work RWHAP programs.

Boston University, with support from HRSA/HAB, is presenting this interactive webinar series on the use of CHWs in HIV delivery care systems. This webinar is part of a series delivered as part of a larger initiative, Using Community Health Workers to Improve Linkage and Retention in Care, funded by the Secretary’s Minority AIDS Initiative Fund (SMAIF), and administered by HRSA/HAB.
