The Health Coverage Eligibility Decision Tree for Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Clients is an easy-to-use tool intended to help RWHAP staff determine if a RWHAP client is eligible for Medicaid, Medicare, private or employer-sponsored insurance, or Marketplace coverage, depending on the client’s current coverage, income, and citizenship status, and other factors. Staff assisting clients with enrollment can use this tool to prepare for a client visit or during a visit to help determine their client’s eligibility for health coverage. The tool also links to useful resources for each type of health coverage.
