HIV Self Testing: CDC Dear Colleague Guidance

HIV testing, like many health services, have been curtailed due to COVID-19 lockdowns. In response, CDC issued an April 28, 2020 Dear Colleague HIV Self Testing Guidance, which encourages agencies to provide clients with HIV self-test kits approved by FDA, along with linkages to HIV care for those testing positive. The statement also explains that CDC will provide further guidance on reporting data on test kit distribution.
