This peer-led workshop will include skill-building interactive sessions about two evidence-informed interventions that address opioid use disorders among people with HIV, Buprenorphine Treatment and Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand how opioid use disorders adversely impact HIV outcomes among people with HIV.
  2. Learn key components of two evidence-informed interventions for addressing opioid use disorders among people with HIV.
  3. Learn strategies for culturally tailored, sustainable, and rapid implementation of evidence-informed interventions addressing opioid use disorder among people with HIV.
