This report highlights projects found to offer highly effective (and replicable) approaches to integrating buprenorphine-based medication-assisted treatment into HIV/AIDS primary care. Chapters outline the processes programs need to put in place, including meeting DATA 2000 regulatory requirements, achieving institutional buy-in, implementing staff training requirements, and evaluating processes and outcomes.

In this workshop, participants will gain resources and strategies for implementing community engagement programs, including training community health workers to be part of a health care team to enhance viral suppression and management of HIV in rural populations.

Anal dysplasia programs are a growing need as anal dysplasia is an increasing concern in men and women with HIV. This presentation will discuss establishing, implementing, and maintaining an anal dysplasia program in a Ryan White clinic setting. Ideas for future evaluation will also be addressed.

In a multi-site community health center system, the most challenging patients with HIV and hepatitis C (HCV) co-infection were assessed for HICV cure, and the solutions developed to overcome their barriers to treatment were translated into systems change.
