Ending the HIV Epidemic through Innovations in Rapid ART

Technical Assistance Provider Innovation Network (TAP-in)

Rapid ART (antiretroviral therapy) is a strategy being adopted by jurisdictions across the U.S. to improve the engagement and retention in care of people with HIV. In this webinar, you learn about innovative Rapid ART strategies in diverse settings, including a program with multiple sites based in a large urban jurisdiction, a program that serves both urban and rural patients, and a small LGBT-focused clinic run by a nurse practitioner.

Our panel of speakers answers these critical questions:

  • How do we handle patients who want to receive Rapid ART at our site but will receive follow-up care elsewhere?

  • How can a small clinic with only 1-2 clinicians structure Rapid ART without disrupting other clinical services?

  • How can programs provide trauma-informed Rapid ART services?

  • How can clinics help patients/clients under 25 years of age access and benefit from Rapid ART?

This webinar builds on our 90-minute webinar from November 19, 2021, Rapid ART: An Essential Strategy to End the HIV Epidemic.
