Pretty much everything a health professional would need or want to know about HIV PrEP is available on the just-released National HIV PrEP Curriculum.
The online portal has varied learning options, including:
- Self Study courses (with CEs) and Quick Reference sections in two broad areas: the fundamentals and in-depth lessons.
- HIV PrEP Tools for Clinicians: mobile and desktop platforms for patient assessment, medications, and laboratory testing.
- Multimedia: mini-lectures, panel discussions, and expert interviews.
- Clinical guides: PrEP studies, Cabotegravir, on-demand dosing, and laboratory monitoring.
- Resources: the National Clinician Consultation Center, TelePrEP, federal resources, and more.
The National HIV PrEP Curriculum was funded by CDC and HRSA and produced by the University of Washington (UW) along with an extensive group of contributors from UW and other institutions. UW also prepared the HRSA-funded National HIV Curriculum on HIV treatment.
