The session will discuss how Arizona is implementing the Data to Care program by using REDCap and HIV surveillance data (from eHARS, CAREWare, and other outside databases) to successfully prioritize and disposition persons with HIV who are no longer in care.

Learning Objectives

  1. Recognize the need to use technology (REDCap) to efficiently and accurately create a single not-in-care list from surveillance and miscellaneous data sources.
  2. Quickly and accurately report the required variables to the health department and CDC using REDCap's reporting features.
  3. Discuss what successes and shortcomings Arizona has encountered using REDCap to run the Data to Care program.
