Description

In December 2016 CrescentCare began linking individuals newly diagnosed with within 72-hours through the CrescentCare START Initiative. We compared linkage and viral suppression between those under and over 24 years old. We found similar successful outcomes for both age cohorts in our intervention.

  1. Identify key workflow steps in developing an immediate test and start program at a Ryan White-funded agency.
  2. Recognize the potential impact of rapid viral suppression among youth.
  3. Discuss coordination of federal, state, city, and health center programs needed to implement a rapid antiretroviral initiation program.
