Description

Models for services responding to employment needs of people with HIV will be presented, including intensive individualized services and community education for optimizing external resources available at the community level. Presentations will build knowledge of and capacity for maximizing benefits of widely available employment services and resources.

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe a model for intensive individualized employment services for people with HIV embedded alongside RWHAP supportive services within a multi-service community-based HIV organization.
  2. Identify a strategy for education of people with HIV on options for considering employment.
  3. Report on existing resources available in each state, territory, and D.C. for addressing employment needs of people with HIV.
