BPHC and HIV service agencies in the Boston EMA quickly adapted during the pandemic by shifting to telehealth, streamlining and enhancing processes, and expanding services to accommodate changing client needs. Significant challenges exist in vaccinating people with HIV for COVID-19. Our RWPC program set out to implement and evaluate a vaccine initiative for COVID-19 for people with HIV. We achieved vaccine rates of 78 percent being fully vaccinated by December 1, 2021 and 30 percent having a third dose.
