Description
Three Rivers Health District (TRHD) followed a cohort of HIV patients from rural communities and monitored patient adherence to HIV medication, reported toxicity, and side effects to the medication, liver function, and other measures for the purpose of proactive treatment. The workshop will provide examples that impacted the health of the clients prescribed antiretroviral treatment (ART).

- Explain how federal, state and local resources are combined to create tailored quality improvement (QI) initiatives focused on patient safety and improved outcomes.
