Description

This workshop will provide a game demonstration. The game was developed to address the common scenarios that occur which cause stress and confusion in the battle to weigh client needs against agency ethos and program requirements. The game promotes motivational interviewing skills for problem-solving with consumers and coworkers alike.

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe situations in which there can be difficulty weighing what's best for clients with what is right for the agency or program.
  2. Practice motivational interviewing skills through game play.
  3. Determine ways to implement the game to orient a new workforce and prevent stress or burnout in the current workforce.
