Description
The New Jersey Behavioral Health and HIV Integration Project (NJ B-HIP) used an HIV and Behavioral Health Continuum and applied a kit of essential tools to achieve behavioral health and primary HIV care integration and improved outcomes. Specific frameworks, tools, and site-based examples will be shared, and cross-cutting issues will be discussed.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the use of quality tools to support improved integration of behavioral health and primary HIV care services.
- Apply lessons learned and application of the tools in clinical quality management programs, including hospital-based and outpatient ambulatory clinics, federally qualified community health centers, and community-based organizations.
- Practice using a toolkit developed to improve the quality of integration of behavioral health and primary HIV care services.
