This presentation will provide an overview of RWHAP in rural areas, the complexity of HIV stigma in rural communities, the role of rural jurisdictions in the Ending the HIV Epidemic Initiative, a review of literature on the impact of stigma, and consumers' lived experiences.

Learning Objectives

  1. Learn about HIV health care delivery in rural communities.
  2. Identify the range of stigma people with HIV confront.
  3. Learn from the data and literature of the impact of stigma.
  4. Participants will recognize from consumers the impact of stigma on their well-being.
