QI 101 Institute–Clinical Quality Management

This session will focus on different methods of quality improvement (QI) with an emphasis on the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) Cycle. There will also be discussions around challenges and successes with implementing QI projects.

Learning Objectives

1. Understand the requirement for QI as outlined in policy clarification notice 15-02.
2. Explore the relationship between data collection and quality improvement projects.
3. Discuss how various subrecipients and recipients have engaged in QI as well as resources available.
