Description

It is possible to implement a high-volume Rapid Entry Program (REP) and mitigate potential system barriers. Comprehensive assessment, immediate treatment options, and understanding the complex needs of vulnerable populations can greatly improve access, engagement, and viral suppression. With strategic planning, large systems can achieve similar innovation to improve access.

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe demographics and challenges to recognize when establishing an REP.
  2. Share processes and plans to meet the need of newly diagnosed and vulnerable return-to-care populations.
  3. Discuss outcomes that can support replication and expansion of REPs beyond new diagnoses.
