Presenters from HRSA HAB and a recently completed SPNS initiative on homelessness among multiply diagnosed people with HIV discuss the intersection of housing instability and health and effective intervention models for this population.

Learning Objectives

  1. Improve RWHAP Parts A-D recipients’ understanding of how unstable housing, substance use disorder (SUD), and serious mental illness (SMI) affects HIV health outcomes.
  2. Highlight innovative strategies to improve viral suppression rates in clients experiencing a combination of HIV, unstable housing, SUD, and SMI.
  3. Highlight which portfolio of services can work to improve HIV health outcomes in clients experiencing unstable housing, along with SUD and SMI
